Ways I Motivate Myself When I Feel Stuck…

Let’s be honest we’ve all had moments when we feel stuck or uninspired. Here are 3 ways that I motivate myself when I am feeling this way…

-Self-Talk:

Do you provide yourself with encouragement through self talk? I have noticed that when I talk to myself positively throughout the day, I have a much better day. It’s simple things like telling myself that “I can do hard things,” or “I got this” when I encounter something difficult throughout the day. 

-Compare Myself with Myself:

Do you feel that you haven’t seen any movement towards your goals? Maybe that nothing has changed and you don’t see any growth or success from the hard work you have been putting in? Focus on you and look at how you have improved from last year, last week, and even yesterday? I assure you that if you look close enough there are more ways you’ve grown than what you think. The trick to this is to NEVER compare yourself to others.

Remember your Successes and Reward Yourself

Think about your success and the things you’ve accomplished. Chart your successes and write down your accomplishments.. When you keep track its much easier to see how your hard work has paid off!
