The day before Thanksgiving, I had the wild idea to fly home and surprise my family. I had never done something like this before and knew my family would be shocked. I have a family member that works for the airline, so I called them and got set up with a buddy pass that would allow me to book a seat on the plane if there were any available. To my surprise, I got a seat and was able to fly home and surprise everyone! It was the BEST! They had no idea. 🙂
While home in NC, we visited Old Salem. Old Salem presents an authentic view of the rich cultural history of early Southern life. The area is so charming and I loved spending time with my family.
