I am thrilled that things are beginning to reopen here in SLC. It has been a while since Chase and I went out for dinner and when we saw a new Italian restaurant, Osteria Amore, open in the Federal Heights neighborhood of SLC, and we couldn’t wait to try it!
Heading out for date night also means getting a little bit dressier than the lounge wear I have been living in at home for the past couple of months. 🙌🏼 I am a sucker for a comfy lounge set, but there is something special about getting dressed up and heading out for dinner.
While we have been venturing out a bit more, we are still being cautious. Masks are ALWAYS worn, and I almost always have at least 2 bottles of hand sanitizer in my purse. I am so impressed and grateful for the extra sanitizing and social distancing measures that are being taken in the SLC community.
We have found several fun ideas for spending date night at home, and I will be sharing these in an upcoming blog post. At home date nights are also perfect for winter when the weather is chilly and all you want to do is cuddle up under a blanket. 😀 We will definitely be revisiting these when the temp drops here in UT.
