As the fall season rolls around, I have been thinking about different ways I can continue to show myself some love and self-care. As the weather cools off and flu and cold season rolls around, I find it important to show my body and mind the love and attention it needs and deserves.
One way that I recharge myself when feeling depleted is by taking a hot shower or bath. There is nothing more relaxing that sitting in the bath with your favorite music and book.
Another way that I like to recharge is by indulging in a little me time. Recently, Chase and I treated ourselves to a massage and man was it worth it! I find myself often thinking, “I shouldn’t spend money on this,” or “I need to pay for ____ instead.” No, girl. You deserve to be pampered and deserve to treat yourself. I’m not saying that this needs to be a weekly occurrence, but treat yourself every so often!
The third way that I recharge is by reading/listening/watching something that inspires me. What I read/watch/do depends on what kind of recharge I need, but I have found that by listening to a podcast or reading a motivational book, I am left with a feeling of “I got this.”
